What is the Children of the Light Liturgy Journey?

The Children of the Light Liturgy is an opportunity for children to participate in the Word of God at a level designed specifically for them. The Liturgy will begin with a blessing of the children by the presider as the congregation sings Children of the Light. The children will follow a lantern to the meeting hall. In the hall the Children's Liturgy will open with a prayer and they will experience a children's version of the Gospel Story followed by sharing time, Prayers of the Faithful and The Little Creed read by the children, and a related colouring or creative activity.

Who may participate?

The program is for registered children of the parish and visitors in JK through Grade 3.

The program will be offered at both the 8:30 and the 11:00 Masses from September through June.
