The mission of the Social Justice Committee is to obtain, discern, and evaluate information in all areas of social justice. Our main focus is to create awareness of social justice issues through education and programs. The committee liaises with internal church ministries and external groups - both Catholic and interfaith - who reach out to the marginalized. The group develops relationships with Catholic, interdenominational, and secular advocacy groups to provide a voice for the vulnerable. In this way, the committee becomes a conduit for accessing actions and information of social justice at St-Justin's. We meet the second Thursday of each month for approximately 90 minutes. Everyone is welcome to join.
