They offer a comprehensive and systematic presentation and exploration of the core elements of Catholic faith and practice. They do so in a way that is accessible to adults and relates to their life experiences, helping them to strengthen their Christian conscience and to live their lives in the world as faithful disciples of Jesus.

Are you feeling sad, fearful, or lonely in your spiritual journey?
You do not have to struggle alone! Consider joining a virtual parish group as we make our way through a free video series on “overcoming Spiritual Discouragement”. This 10 part, free, self-study video series is presented by renowned author and teacher, Fr Timothy Gallagher. The videos and the parish sharing group will help you to find hope and peace as you overcome feelings of doubt, grief, anxiety, and inadequacy.
Participants will watch one video on their own time each week. Then, on Monday evenings, participants can join a zoom meeting with other parishioners from our family of parishes, to share their experiences and support one another in prayer. The virtual parish sharing group will be facilitated by St. Martin’s parishioner, Marie Claire Bilyk.
All are welcome! There are two steps to signing up:

The Cursillo Movement brings the Good News that God loves us by the best means possible, friendship over the course of a three-day weekend. The weekend includes fifteen talks, called rollos, which are given by priests and by laypeople. The major emphasis of the weekend is to ask participants to take what they have learned back into the world, on what is known as the "fourth day." The method stresses personal spiritual development by weekly group reunions after the initial weekend.
The Alpha course introduces the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions. It is described by its organizers as "an opportunity to explore the meaning of life". Alpha courses are run in churches, homes, workplaces, prisons, universities and a wide variety of other locations. The course began in Britain and is run around the world by various Christian denominations.
METANOIA – and believe in the Gospel. In the Gospel of Mark, the first words of Jesus are an invitation to metanoia, to repent, to change, to be converted.
The series is beautifully filmed on location in the Holy Land, highlighting sacred places such as the Sea of Galilee, the River Jordan, the desert of Temptations, and many of the holy sites in Jerusalem.
Each of the 10 episodes explores areas of our life where conversion is so often necessary. Metanoia will examine topics such as who is Jesus, what must we do to inherit eternal life, and many other significant matters of faith. With preaching from Fr. Dave as well as personal testimonies from men and women, young and old, religious and lay, their stories will inspire you to seek to encounter Jesus and the new life he is constantly inviting us to.
Metanoia is a production of The Ministry of The Wild Goose and 4PM Media in association with Franciscan University of Steubenville and the Franciscan Friars TOR Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
An In-Depth Exploration of Salvation History
The Bible Timeline® study program takes you on a guided journey through salvation history. Presenter Jeff Cavins will show you how fourteen of the Bible’s narrative books tell the biblical story from beginning to end and will give you the keys to understanding the amazing story woven throughout Scripture.
In this revolutionary approach to Bible study, The Bible Timeline divides the Bible into twelve color-coded time periods that make the narrative thread easier to follow. Using a unique color-coded chart, you will learn the major people, places, and events of the Bible and discover how they all come together to reveal the remarkable story of our Faith.
The Bible Timeline will teach you how to read and understand the entire Bible and introduce you to the wonderful narrative of Scripture in a way that will transform your life.
